She's evolved to more than just her canon character within my mind's eye. The concept of Rainbow Dash in my particular mind is who I love, independent of her birthplace of the show.
>Overall, how well do you think she was portrayed/written in the show?
Pretty flanderized like almost immediately if you ask me. She really did have much growth to her character after Season 3 if you ask me. Part of me really wished Dash DIDN'T get into the Wonderbolts and Spitfire never changed her mind, because she would have been a FAR more interesting character. It's the same problem with Twilicorn, they blew the character's load.
>What episodes do you consider to be the most definitive/representative of her personality?
Good question. Hmm, I'd say Flight to the Finish for sure. Wonderbolts Acadamy. The reading one. Hurricane Fluttershy. All solid really good. I even don't mind Mysterious Mare Do Well kek.
>What episodes, if any, do you dislike the most, and why?
Making A. K. Yearling Daring Do was a stupid decision, and I feel like it cheapens the reading episode. The one where she acts like the mane 6 is weird. The zombie one is just... fucking awful. I liked her a lot in the movie, that felt like peak Dashie. <3
>Finally, and only if you feel comfortable answering, how similar would you consider your own personality to Rainbow's?
I share her rebellious spirit and loyalty to her friends, but I wish I had her balls heh. She definitely wears the pants in our relationship, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
