No one new enters the Homestuck "fandom" (or what passes for a "fandom") any more. It's all 30+ oldies who want to reminisce about a comic that finished a decade ago, and they started reading a decade before that.
This is why caring about a structured group effort to bring in new readers is ultimately doomed. If you weren't there, then Homestuck is just a super long and confusing comic that, when you don't have the blinding effect of newness, hype, and discussion, falls off almost immediately.
If you do go back and read it, you'll find that all the signs of Homestuck's later decline was already there by Act 2, and well on its way by Act 3.
TL;DR: No one cares about spoilers because the only people who would care already read it 10 yeas ago.
