My mom has an 18-year-old cat named Lucy who has always used the same hooded litter box. Recently, Lucy started missing the box and getting urine on the floor, she usually pees on the litter towards the front of the box. My mom made the mistake of buying a low-entry box without a hood, but Lucy wouldn’t use it. The next day, she got the old box from the garbage, cleaned it, and put it back in its original spot. Now Lucy won’t use the old one either! Any suggestions? Should she put both boxes there?
