If Mammon didn't just enter one of the portals Lucifer made across Hell, the only people currently capable of wielding angelic power (besides the angels and God) are now Satan and Leah. And since Satan's largely leaving Priest to his own devices, Leah could very well be entering the fray. Maybe this happened:
>Mammon gets back in contact with the church after the whole Sloth fiasco
>proposes to work together to find Priest and bring him back, so the Church could have their finest weapon and so he could have his rematch
>Church refuses because they would never work with a demon, especially after what happened with Priest and Belphegor
>But Leah decides to do it anyways because she has to save her husbando
I could be totally wrong on this, though.
