I have less of a problem with the economics of libertarianism (they proved very successful like you said), but with the social aspect: Druggies, sexual degenerates, rabid open-border lunacy.
Line go up but being an alienated, hyper-individual without identity or belonging is more damaging to the soul of a social creature like a human than economic hardship ever could be.
