I find it a little hard to believe you weren't given a curriculum to go off, assignments to hand out, or at least introduced to a peer teaching the same/similar content to lean on for guidance/advice/general pacing?
You literally have nothing? I apologize for asking for more details like this but it will matter in my response. If you could also include grade level, general economic background of the area, urban or rural, ect. Paint the picture for me so I can be as helpful as I can be.
