>Not to mention that the world is shockingly anti-Israel on this one. Haven seen this much aversion to a regime, since Apartheid South Africa.
I don't think this will do anything to the Israelis. They really don't care. I don't even mean like someone saying "I don't care" but they actually do and they're coping, I mean they. don't. care. Caring about this is physically impossible for Israelis. It's like Americans caring about military parades. It's something embedded deeply in the culture, they can't do it. They don't care about Kanye's Hitler song. American Jews get up in a sweat up about every goddamned thing being antisemitic but I don't think Israelis are like that at all. They don't tend to think, "we can't do this because it's right/wrong" in some moral sense. Like, is it "wrong" or is it "terrorism" to do the pager attacks. In the Western countries, we constantly moralize about everything and have absurd, idiotic arguments all the time.

>The gods of public opinion, the gods of wunderwaffen, the gods of "the west getting bored"...you keep finding new gods to pray to because each in turn has failed to answer your prayer and it probably never even existed to begin with but you just keep searching for new gods to pray to.
Exactly. Israel is more like a character in their own moral story. This how the Abrahamic offshoots of Judaism relate to it but they keep getting rugpulled.
