It depends. Sometimes it's better to just leave it up to the viewer's interpretation, like Hashirama's death, and sometimes it's just annoying. Like, concerning Minato's team again, why is one of them a Kumo ninja? We literally never see any other person from Konoha look like the Kumo villagers, so why does Minato's team have one, and during one of the world wars? The oneshot would've been the perfect opportunity to explain it (at least in a quick speech bubble something), especially since he was previously always made to just look tanned like Iruka, but it is neve explained.
