I'm an arcade rat (I play rhythm games) and I've combed through all my resources with pictures of R1 BWM and none of them match up. It's very possible someone on the dev team did field work for pictures, but what throws me off is this particular background which is clearly from a Japanese arcade (no American Round 1s have that many Sound Voltex or DDR cabinets). I seriously doubt that this picture was sourced internally.
