it's nice to finally see a character in this series that looks like an actual slim and agile ninja wearing an outfit inspired by actual shinobi garb, instead of a roided guy in a tight bdsm leather suit for the fourth time. the more futuristic elements also fit with the setting that they are going for. I'm guessing that the color of his hair is supposed to hint at him being partly an Oni demon, similar to Ayane or Honoka in DOA. I wonder if Raidou is also his dad. pretty good design overall. definitely way cooler and more distinctive than the generic guy from Yaiba and the guy from the new 2d side scroller spin off
