What's the solution they're even presenting? I haven't heard it stated anywhere just "STOP KILLING GAMES!!!" Maybe I'd find it if I bothered to look, but I'd expect to have heard it by now with how many times I heard "stop killing games."
Maybe the least you could require is that if a developer is going to stop hosting downloads for a game, they must provide a DRM-free copy and those who already purchased the game are allowed to distribute/download it. Also, if a developer is going to stop supporting a multiplayer game, they must provide either provide server software or make the game open source to let people make their own server software.
