Amateur means you are not getting paid to write. This means you have not been tested by deadlines and a need to write consistently to survive.
Note: at no point have I brought "quality of writing" in the discussion, just quantity. There's plenty of extremely skilled amateurs and incompetent professionals, but that was not the point of discussion here, we weren't talking about whether your 256 unique routes were going to be good, rather if they can even exist at all.
