What does Flow being animated in Blender have to do with the "look of animated movies" not mattering? Yeah Flow doesn’t have super realistic textures like a Pixar movie does, but it still LOOKS good since it has a solid aesthetic that’s different from other CGI family movies. If anything it proves the opposite, people were willing to check out an indie movie from a no name Latvian studio just because it looked unique as opposed to the latest Pixar product which looks like every other CGI cartoon because Pixar has become a victim of their own success
