Levi has produced the same style of jeans since the 1800s. A pair from 130+ years ago was found in a mine shaft and besides small details like it being button up instead of a zipper and rivets for suspenders instead of belt loops they are nearly identical to the same modern Levis that have been available across the world for a century.
You could look at a graphic tee from the 1940's and it wouldn't look retro to you because the style has changed so little. A college style graphic tee from 75 years ago is the same style as today. The type of plain t-shirt worn by Marlon Brando in black and white movies from the 1950s are identical to ones made today. You are describing fashion TRENDS, there have always been staple fashion items that never go out of style or become "retro" because their design never changes and is never outdated despite any arbitrary length of time that passes even when that line crosses centuries.
