the following are common (>1%) side effects of finasteride:
penile atrophy
erectile dysfunction
diminished ejaculatory volume and force
loss of all sexual or romantic desire
anhedonia (lack of pleasure)
depression
suicidal thoughts
all of these can persist permanently even if you stop taking the drug immediately.
