I've been having the most success with this build. Turns auric maelstroms into a cakewalk. I have no intent on running arbitrator in h40 quite yet, and am probably not going to play h40 again until next week, it's pretty tiring.
I used to swear by the accatran pump shotgun, and still think it's a fucking excellent weapon on arbitrator, but puncture dog boom is hilarious, and puncture on its own does enough boss damage to be relevant anyway. Both guns are vaguely identical in use, and bolt pistol has an extra gimmick, so it's probably better.
Yes, this is extremely top-heavy. You could afford to drop some of the toughness nodes in favor of more damage near the bottom. I personally am not missing any damage whatsoever. Most hairy situations are solved by puncture dog nade.
