I think Singular Point had subtle themes of resurrection considering the Hindu and Buddhist theming. The Godzilla bones were still alive the entire time and became Robo Godzilla (but who knows if that will get in.) Jet Jaguar's AI Peros II was named after the girls dead dog. Dynazenon has Yume's sister and he Ankh puzzle, Gauma and Princess, and the Eugenists. Dunbine has the OVA where people are reincarnations. So yeah maybe.

I actually love recolors in general and I'm hoping this means its post plot and we get to save them or something. And I wonder if they'll get a Gridknight and Goldburn combo? If they ever make a toy it'll match thr universe recolors so much too. White purple and gold look so good together. It reminds me of Vector Prime.
I love when they do shit like this. Leloche's Wing Zero and the Anti Gurren Lagann were awesome. I wish the Black Raideen from the toys had an excuse to be in SRW too.
