Code Geass has been leaning more and more into Albion Zero being Suzaku's "real" KMF as Zero since even though we see him with multiple Mahoroba, the Almaria side story and Lost Stories had him bring back the Albion Zeto with some aesthetic changes.

I think Singular Point had subtle themes of resurrection considering the Hindu and Buddhist theming. The Godzilla bones were still alive the entire time and became Robo Godzilla (but who knows if that will get in.) Jet Jaguar's AI Peros II was named after the girls dead dog. Dynazenon has Yume's sister and he Ankh puzzle, Gauma and Princess, and the Eugenists. Dunbine has the OVA where people are reincarnations. So yeah maybe.

Easy one, Shin version, since in Grendizer U Dr. Hell is still around and Kouji is still more of a Mazinger pilot than world-class scientist. So Shin would be an easy fit with just replacing U Kouji with Shin Kouji and reusing Shin Tetsuya's stuff from V and X. The other anwser is using Infinity and the mechanical beasts that show up there are the revived ones rather than it being their first attack. Thus giving Kouji and Tetsuya a role to step into not just as allies but as mentors to this version of Duke.

I think they're trying to make it seem more like the anime shows. Rather than just having a pilot jump in front of the camera, they go for the shot of the pilots with in the actual cockpits and then do things like panning out to the mech as it finishes it's attack. Some of them can work I think, Tetsuya's cut in during the Thunderbolt Breaker looked pretty neat and seamless.

Getter Robo and Jeeg are basically standalone remakes for some reason story-wise. If you read the novel versions there are small lore crossovers, like Getter's signature being used to attract Zero, but they don't actually team up or play an active role with the Mazinger stuff, nor vice-versa.

Zero is an invader from another dimension that has been destroying other worlds. In the full novel stories, they learn it's actually a Mazinger Z from the original timeline corrupted by the "Minerva" virus that Dr.Hell infected into it somehow, and somehow that virus evolved into something else. And the something else that transformed it into Zero was actually the mind of the Emperor of Darkness that merged with it somehow. In the end they manage to destroy the Emperor of Darkness and purify the Minerva system, using the Mazinger Zero to finish off the Vega forces.

Just finished the demo. Incredibly shocked that the Japanese version offered English subtitles yet they won't release the demo on English PSN (not even SEA) or Steam despite the main game being readily available for retail in the US it just seems incredibly shortsighted especially when wanted to push the series to international audiences. Biggest surprise was that despite my skepticism the demo was surprisingly solid...gameplay wise and as much as they try to salvage the cast list with a decent set up I still can't get all that hype but at least they're trying this time around compare to the "war buddy stories" in 30. Menu transitions are completely revamped and the minimalism while tacky makes the everything run faster and a generally like how nothing feels cluttered anymore, animation was pretty meh though too much CG and stills especially for the older titles with very few alternations made. Overall it looks to be a better 30 which depending on who you are is either a good thing or a bad thing,

Daimos even links somewhat to MJP with Theora's situation and having one of the aliens on your side. Speaking of which: the MJP movie is probably going to be DLC as well again, as would Hi-Nu Gundam - yet again. Up in the air whether we'd get a Nightengale out of it too.

Since Seed Destiny is already present, and the whole thing is quite well contained - Stargazer might make it as DLC too. That's only 2 recruitable units, realistically speaking, with Strike Noir and Stargazer. Verde Buster and Blu Duel are probably non-recruitable. (Would be interesting if they could go to Yzak and Dearka though.)

I can't imagine they'd double dip on DLC already in 30, although maybe I'm giving Namco too much credit. If they're feeling cheeky I could see us getting the live action Voltes in Y.
