I couldnt care less if he knew what he was talking about or not the biggest things for me are
>rightfully names lumen and nanite as dogshit that chugs your computers hardware
>rightfully calls TAA complete dogshit of an AA along with other AIslopgen
>rightfully shows that with a little effort UE doesnt have to be as horrible as it is
on the opposite side you have
>noooo the programmers dont suck
>noooo unreal engine doesnt suck
>hair is supposed to look like razorwire
>its untrue that high end rigs struggle with new games, i play oblivion completely maxed out
>no i will not post a video
>even if it DID have performance issues is likely your fault stop running 10 year old hardware
>you arent an expert on anything so shut up and and stop complaining
im just tired of being fucking gaslit that shit i am seeing with my own eyes isnt actually real especially knowing that it doesnt have to be this way. KCD2 which is on cryengine, is fucking impeccable visually even on lower settings and runs very well all around. Having the same amount of grass/trees would literally be an impossible task for UE or need graphics cards that havent been invented yet to stutter along at 17-31 fps.
There is a problem im just tired of people fucking lying to me that there isnt. Its not the engines fault, its not the game makers fault, theres just nothing that can be done because all of the details that you notice arent actually important and its just autism making your experience bad. Games are not noticeably better enough to justify the system requirements
>red faction guerilla
>CPU: 3.2 GHz Dual-Core Processor (Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2)
>CPU SPEED: 3.2 GHz Dual-Core Processor
>RAM: 2 GB

>TOTAL VIDEO RAM: 256 MB

you could make that kind of game with with such little requirements but, thats just impossible now for some unknown reason.
