It is a valid point, but I like to think I would delete them and not care should I ever have a girlfriend of my own. Why would I want to stare at photos when I have the real deal? Even if the photograph is of a 10/10 and she's a 6. There's much to be said about the physical presence of a woman making you less worried about her looks or others, like when you fall in love with a cute barista from seeing a smile and brushing her hand.

Meanwhile it is for sure a slippery slope. I'm sure it won't surprise you but I am also an obsessive lover of gravure modelling. In fact, the two types of pictures fill the same needs for me, though gravure is more of gf simulator since you actually see the faces and personalities of the girls.
