What book would you consider the "lowest common denominator" or "mode average" for a great book?
I don't mean the best book, or the book that would win a vote of the best book, but the book that the most people would say "that is a great book" regardless of if it's in their personal top 10?
A crowd pleaser with as few haters as possible.

>Be from India or Brazil or some bumfuck shithole country
>Someone in that country comes up to you and asks if you want to move to Ireland
>That person's company, for a small fee, sets you up with a "Language learning visa", a place at a "school" to learn English, and a house they own. You will get a bunk bed in the house, sharing a room with at least 10 other people. They give you someone else's deliveroo account and the bike, and say "get to work" so you can pay €1000 a month for the bunkbed.
