I won't be able to see Fantastic Four until next week but as a character Thing has a certain energy to him the trailers all seem to be lacking. He comes across like some kind of depressive sadboy. Ben can be a bit of a tragic character, but he's also the groups confident bruiser. He's upset he's a rockmonster but quirks like his many catchphrases just flow out of him naturally. He's very much a New Yorker. He has that New Yorker spirit about him and the film seems to have stripped that from him.
