I don't think you need meat in curry so why introduce it maybe it's a vegetable or onions substitute but that would imply those food items existed before and the world just stopped using them then you got shit like slowpoke tail curry or kingler curry which clearly has either a dead pokemon or a dismembered pokemon in the food. That also begs the question, why aren't slowpoke tails illegal anymore maybe they were never illegal and it was just team rockets method that was illegal
