Hey friend, good on you for the honesty, that’s the most useful tool you can have in quitting.
Here’s a few things you should know
> each time a person tries to quit a substance they are more likely to succeed than the previous time, so relapses happen but you get better at quitting with each attempt
> people who are able to state a reason why they want to quit (as you did in your post) are significantly more likely to succeed, even though it may take multiple attempts
> most people take multiple attempts before they get it - those who succeed are those who keep trying
> people who start a new hobby (especially fitness) are more likely to succeed in a quitting
> find the others who are trying to do what you’re doing, especially those who have made it out
