A bunch of things
Keynesianism is beloved by politics, because it gives the politician the moral right to fuck up the economy for his own interests. So the powerful are already inclined to push towards that rather than libertarianism.
Big corporation have all the interest in pulling up the ladder behind them. They can buy state power to fuck their competitors up before they are even born, this without even getting into state contracts and subsidies that they can lobby for. So you have another powerful group actively lobbying against it.
Libertarians are also against central banks, so yeah, you can see why that's an issue.
Leftists hate if for obvious reasons, it's everything they stand against, they even see fascism as a tool for libertarians to crash commies (something retarded and inane by all points of view but whatever) and are actually convinced they live under libertarianism (another completely deranged thing to believe)
Conservatives and libertarians can have an uneasy alliance as conservatives some times do understand the free market to work, but there are a few issues:
>many libertarians are pro immigration
>conservatives want to use the full power of the state, meaning they will backstab the libertarians once in power
America with trump vs musk and argentina with milei and the rest of his government show that this alliance can ONLY work if the libertarian is in charge, not the conservatives, AND the libertarian must accept nationalism as valid (this implies being against open borders) to satisfy the conservatives (and also because open borders are a DISASTER)
