The only reason generative AI is such a threat (other than because producers, execs, and boards are easily mystified by trends and buzzwords) is because most of the industry has been doing the same blind generative process with human components for years.
They've been using Monkeys at typewriters and are looking to replace the monkeys the second they find a way to automate the keyboards to produce slop of similar category.
