You have to keep in mind the first people to report this are content scrappers websites that have ZOOMER friendly format. TheGamer, VGC, Game Rant, etc all have search engine optimization AI articles and they're chasing Reddit posts. The audience as you can see are ADHD terminally online zoomers who believe everything that's on the internet. It's quite a problem and it snowballs because the third world (Southest Asia, South America, India, Eastern Europe) have staggering low IQ as well.
