She could search for help there like any young person could a youth employment service. Unless there's some kind of racism for meta humans, or prejudice against humans with different appearances in the /co/-verse, I don't think she'd have a hard time to find a regular job. Unless people hates green-skin girl (that'd be a first).
I'd see her having a scholarship in athletics. Perhaps track and fields, or gymnastics.
