It's made pretty clear that devils have certain tendencies (for example enjoying human suffering), and Nayuta exhibited them. Power, Yoru, Nayuta, etc. all share a lot in common. It's the devils that have been in contact with humans for a long time that behave differently, but at their core, they still have it in them, like Makima did.
