Fumiko replaces Power very well, in fact I think she's leagues better then Power because she's more realistically written. Power was very stereotypical, her behavior was charming but a bit exaggerated. Fumiko is a more down to earth version of Powy, she's silly but instead of being an utter moron like Power she's very intelligent. Instead of abandoning Denji out of lack of character like Powy does she abandons him for justified reasons after he shat on all her good will multiple times. Her charm and silliness is backed up by her intelligence and as such there's substance to it, a goofy wit so to say. She bounces well off Nayuta too, their interactions carry tension and a humorous quality between the lines. Same with Nail fiend, he's silly but intelligent. Where Fumiko's reserved for interactions with Denji, Nail is reserved for interactions with Asa. Both protagonists are covered and Power isn't needed.

You need to remember that Denji has some bias due his own experiences with devils been far better compared to his experiences with humans, Denji became friends with Pochita, Power and Nayuta despite being devils with the latter two changing for better. There's a huge experience gap between Nayuta and Makima obviously, and Makima had probably scanned the minds of a huge number of people to obtain their memories.
Even so, Nayuta came in equipped with pretty much the average Devil personality and she could be far more eloquent than your average school kid when describing devil behavior, just like Yoru is.

At some point you just have to accept that Fujimoto has never brought any passion to the table when working on Part 2, and just wanted to make a quick buck with low effort over an IP he wasn't interested in anymore.
Surely most people have already noticed it, which explains the decline in sales, but there's still enough readers to justify making it.
Though it does feel like the manga has been rushing to its conclusion lately, we went from Aging wasting months on nothing to speedrunning through stuff like the 4th horseman, FSM and the Fire Devil, and the announcement that the Prophecy date draws near.
