So I could try it for a few months and be fine if I stopped? Nothing permanent?

It would be pretty hot to strangle myself with those arms though, I think.

I'd feel really weird wearing a bra.

Projet: STOP BEING RETARDED (SBR)
I was thinking, what if we decide to band together and beat our evil overlords by unretarding ourselves, giving ourselves a tiny bit of purpose and something to look forward to?

This is why I propose Project: SBR (not to be confused with Steel Ball Run) -- the concept is shrimple:
We read one book a month and come back to talk about it at set date and maybe with some heckin memes and the like. Or maybe a few chapters a week to start off with.

>B-But I can't snee- read! I just can't concentrate and words hurt my brainerino!
Fret not, the first few books would be pretty short and with audiobooks. Not wanting to miss the monthly thread would be a big motivational factor too. Think of it like a deadline in school; you HAVE to do it (after all you had an ENTIRE month!).

>I don't trust your tastes! I bet your books suck!
That's why we'll have votes!

>Okay but what's the end game?
The end game is for you to be able to read long books, to be more knowledgeable and a better rhetorician. That way, you get yourself a huge boost in confidence, and appear generally much more interesting to others. You'll also be more motivated to do things that take time in general, and you'll be much more likely to disconnect from the internet. And maybe you'll even write your very own story! Imagine writing the story of a hecking mango that gets adapted into anime like these Chinese, Korean and French ones? And you'll be better at it because you actually read books!

Anyway, thoughts on this idea? Should I just kill myself instead?
