All console manufacturers do this, but apparently it's only bad when Nintendo does it lol.
Pretty sure that Valve locks your Steam account away if it ever catches you swapping regions to take advantage of the exchange rates between currencies, amongst certain other behaviors it doesn't tolerate.
Don't agree with their terms of service? Then don't use it.
