don't get too invested in the idea. That might be the case but it's also possible its just slightly sloppy perspective. The silhouette we saw of his using his awakening didn't have an odd arm or leg. but it'd also be pretty easy to shape a hook and a peg leg into a human shape using the power of his awakening so that doesn't proof anything either
