Before he became famous, this man was a drunkard and used to get in all sorts of trouble in his youth. One night he was caught by the British Raj subedhars for drunkenly conduct and was presented in front of a British judge

“Do you know why you are here?” asked the judge
The man looks rather shy and mumbles that he is not sure. “You are here for drinking”, adds the judge. The man now looks up with a look of relief and says: “great! when do we start?”

At this point the whole court bursts into a raucous laughter!

Frustrated, the judge bangs his gavel and says "Order! Order in the court!!"

The drunken man then cheerfully shouts "I'll have two whiskeys and rums please!"

The judge realized this man was not an ordinary man, and recognized him for his brave behaviour. He immediately orders his release and invites him to his chamber to drink couple of shots with him. He then advises him to become a lawyer and he lets him go.

Who was this man who later became a lawyer and a thorn in the plans for British Raj??
