whats the best civ to play if im playing a 4v4 game and i need to be able to help on 2 land fronts that are separated far apart and might need navy as well? i play compstomps with my friend, but he never builds enough military buildings quick enough and sometimes the AI on my team sucks forcing me to split my forces/attention.

i was thinking goths for cheap/quickmaking infantry to supplement either side+nearly full techtree navy or maybe britons for longrange support+nearly full navy, but problem would be if they leave my archers to die while i work on supporting the other side. maybe a cavalry civ but im worried about halbs when im not looking.
