You're treating it like manifesto rather then novel.
lf you talked to a foot soldier in any revolution throughout history you'd get little more then the sort of incoherent idealism you articulate.
ln so far as peirce deserves critique its not for demonstrating this in the novel (quite the opposite) its in him trying in places to treat it like the manifesto its not and doing ideology exposition dumps in the middle.
Most of the story is just action and underdescribed sex though.
You dont have to be marxist to enjoy a book about the russian revolution and you dont have to be a racist to enjoy turner diaries.
