Those that follow in her wake have to deal with the feeling of only winning by sheer luck due to her being pulled off the board. Basically, it's crippling imposter syndrome. Meanwhile, Tachyon is trying to cope with her departure from racing by having others achieve her dreams for her, to outsmart her destiny as an umamusume. And rather than pure fiction, its based on an actual era of Japanese horse racing.
