It feels like G-Witch in that it just needed more length. And also like G-Witch, I'm not sure you could fix it with OVAs or novels. The show already is what it is.
It is handling it's rapid pace pretty well in most cases, mind you. But the ones where it doesn't are really bad.

Nyaan betrayed Machu because Machu betrayed Nyaan, at least from Nyaan's perspective. Poor communication ruins everything yet again. And regardless, she IS a poor teenager who was given a bad hand by life. That's pitiful and worthy of sympathy.
