>treating credit screens and higher scores as real life achievements.
That reminds me, I have an autistic nephew that's obsessed with playstation trophies. At family gatherings he always wants to talk about his newest platinum or some difficult trophy he earned recently. He's still in high school but he's already up to 50+ platinums or something. I didn't grow up with achievements or trophies so I never really cared about them, but maybe younger generations are different. I wouldn't be surprised if much of /v/ was similarly young and autistic like my nephew.
Thinking about it now that 'tism is probably great for his parents, since it means he gets the most out of the games they buy for him. A game that might have kept me busy for 30 hours keeps him busy for 200 because he needs to beat the game on every difficulty and find all the open world collectables or something.
