Guns should also kill other soldiers. Meanwhile regular shotguns couldn't even kill M3 Astronauts, as the suit is made of kevlar.
They'd just use your regular indoor guns like lascarbines or volkite serpentas. Or meltaguns :)
If the hull gets a hole, it gets a hole - it's just a 1 atmosphere pressure difference. You could overcome that with magnetized boots, googles and an O2 hose until you reached the nearest airlock
