What the fuck is a Springfield VP 1911?
There are two full length rail Springfield’s, the Emissary (square trigger guard, bull barrel are its defining features) or the older California TRP, which is the model closest to VP sounding.
I would nay the Emissary, but yay the TRP since it’s their high end line and has its roots from FBI and Military use. Springfield Custom Shop (their super high end line) supplied some of the last 1911s used by government agencies.
