As someone who read the manga with no expectations this year

Yes and no, this is the type of series that if you want to jump from point A -> B you need a “key” to achieve successfully that jump, so basically they are on the way to travel around the work to find those keys

Also, there is a interesting twist behind of all of it that reminded me to Hisoka from HxH
