How much of a fightfag fest is this? I liked Soul Eater because the character dynamics were compelling until Arachne was killed. Fire Force was pretty shit plot-wise and relied on a lot of style over substance and the shock value of being a prequel to Soul Eater at the end. If the author was influenced by Okubo I'd hope she pulled from the early Soul Eater days, but all the buzz about this I've seen has nothing to say about the story and only things to say about the grungy aesthetic, cool character designs, and good art.
