They're generally good. A non-spoilery example is an escort quest where the NPC you're supposed to escort leaves without you and you have to find him instead. A lot for the game is like that.

There was actually a quest where you have to puzzle out the correct order to restart a commercial generator, which is accurate to real life, and later I had to do this for real, during the middle of a thunderstorm, with all the doors to the cab locked (I had to drill out the locks and manually rip the cab doors open, rental company be damned for misplacing the key) with an angry mob of 20 people yelling at me. Weirdly enough, this odd bit of trivia from this jrpg saved me from getting beaten up by an angry mob and instead I got a raise because there's no fucking way I would have got that done in a timely manner otherwise.

Huh? You just control running and walking intentionally and just maneuver around them while breaking line of sight using cars and hopping through windows. All you really need to beat the ENTIRE game is a crowbar. When I played I didn't even make a base, I just walked around looting houses until I had enough stuff to break into a lab and become invincible. There are very few true infinites in MvC2. It has an undizzy system to prevent infinites. The gameplay is awful bamham combat and you basically hold down a single button to make your horse auto run down roads, where you stop at points of interest in a generic open world to kill 5 generic bandits and get a treasure chest full of generic loot with entirely vertical progression. Other than this its all cutscenes, there is absolutely nothing else. There was supposed to be a system where you studied monsters and prepared the necessary ingredients to leverage against their weaknesses beforehand via alchemical ingredients, but actually this doesn't work because one buff clearly outperforms all others, so this system has mostly been restructured into unavoidable quests that handhold you the entire way and string you between objectives like an MMO. There is even a magic smell-o-vision to lead you to objectives because visually the game is made to look like a movie and terrain features are hard to distinguish. The writing is also bad. It's like an HBO or netflix movie where the NPC just monologues about meaningless edgy shit in a deep voice, and then something gay and quirky happens, like drinking a magic potion that let's him understand his horse that talks like a hollywood jew. I am not exagerrating when I say it is the most offensively anti-video game normalfag movies ever made.

STALKER is an open world survival horror series. STALKER GAMMA is all the 3 games maps patched together with the survival aspects cranked up to 11 with a lot of milsim autism.
