Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta, even double zeta are great from the original series. The OVAs are good, 08th MS team is good. Gundam Wing, G Gundam are fun in their own ways. The original show is still the best but they all have their own merits.

Because Tachyon has an innate heal and a 20% speed growth. You put maestro on her and you have two gold heals EZ. Don't need to worry about stamina maxing or any meme guts builds. Hypothetically you COULD do that though, but you're still gonna want Creek for Maestro.

Start from the beginning. The first three shows all tie into each other and are in the same timeline. Zeta picks off where the original left off. I'd just go in chronological order if you really like it, but you can skip around to some of the better ones. Anything from 70s- early 00s is pretty good. Avoid Gundam Sneed though.

In that case it's useful to have some, but you've also already spent 80% of the race burning your Stamina at the normal rate so if you're a real Staminalet you're washed regardless. And heals only heal your HP (which is calculated based on your Stamina without Guts being a factor at all)

But right/left handed + season runner + firm/wet conditions will always be the strongest due to more speed and power always giving you a leg up. Yeah that's the thing. NTA who made the guide but ANYONE who makes a guide is going to have a slightly different play style or choices/advice.

I'd personally recommend pivoting bricked ace runs into fan farming and/or parent runs rather than just scrapping them on the spot, though. You never know when a shit run will randomly decide to drop a 3* spark
Also worth noting that you undershot how many stats you get from URA Finale Finals + the director's fan; it gives AT LEAST 30 rather than "at best", and can give up to 39-40ish with good race bonus and maxed reporter friendship

If you understand the game mechanics, if you understand why certain things are good, then you can start forming your own strategy. Of course, it's good to discuss and share strategies and if you're wrong, someone here will call you out or you can have a debate over it. I've learned a lot of stuff just talking strategy and watching others do the same.

If you're ONLY in your own head you might be overlooking something or missing out on a key strategy that might be actually pretty good. To be honest a lot of that stuff comes down to risk aversion. Not everyone is going to make the same decisions. I do think the global doc has a pretty good "flowchart" but there's always exceptions to the rule and situations where you want to go against the grain and do something that's not exactly textbook. More you develop your game sense, the more you'll get better at decision making. Some are more risk averse than others. Some will play it more safe than others. Some will chase after something specific and what have you. Every run, my decisions are changing based on the situation. There's no one size fits all easy answer for any run. Some decisions can be kinda hard to make. But the more you play, the better you'll get at optimizing.

I really think the key things are energy management (i.e. picking the events that give you energy over stats) because that's a common newb trap. Why would you want BORING energy when you could get + speed/power? But they don't realize that that energy is the lifeblood of your run.

I've also seen people not understand that you need to stay at a great mood for most of your run because you want that 20% bonus. 20% is a lot! Keeping your mood up is important, but RNG mood downs can fuck you there.

For New years always go with the option to refill energy, know when the energy refills are coming and base your decisions around that.

You SHOULD try and have full energy before summer camp. You SHOULD try and have full energy before the URA finale so you dont have to rest in those last few days and can use it all on training. But sometimes it doesnt always pan out that way. But just a few guidelines like that are probably what new players are overlooking.

Using the first year to get your friendship levels up is also important, mood not as important in that first year as you're trying to get everyone to rainbow level friendship. Idk, it is a lot of stuff to remember but it becomes easy over time.

IF there are a lot of trainees lined up in wit, I might train it then too. Most of your skill points will come from G1s, but also sometimes from events.

Depends on what hint you're looking for. If you're building a front runner that NEEDS green skills to proc groundwork, then you'll probably be chasing hints a little bit more. The good thing to know about hints too is that it actually raises affinity with that support card a little bit more, so it's useful to know when trying to get your friendship level up to gold rainbow level.

I don't do optional races very often, but there are two instances where you might want to do them.
1: You're below 50k fans after the Queen Elizabeth Cup. I don't remember the exact date, but I do know that you get +20 Wit and another bonus if you have at least 50k fans around late Fall.
2: You're below 100k before the start of the Senior Year. If you have 100k fans by then, you get an extra 30 skill points. Fortunately, Japan Cup and the Arima Kinen give a ton of fans so if you can run medium or long or both, you can bounce back hard.
This isn't a hard rule though, I would say look at how good your trainings are during those days.

I think she'll be a lot easier to train up for the incoming Virgo (mile) as you wont have to worry about Stamina really. Getting the right combination of greens on Maru is tricky since she has none and not even Focus to cope as a third ability. I made a good one out of pure luck early on. Think of it like rolling for a 3*. Some people get it on the first ten roll, some people have to spark the banner to get it...a lot of it is just luck. If you feel it's too much, trust me on this when I say training literally anyone else will be a load off your shoulders and you can always try making a S. Maru next time. Not saying to give up, but if it's stressing you out too much, don't sweat it.

Remember, there's a billion CMs. What is your goal? For me, I just want to win plat just to do it, you know? I wouldn't do it for the rewards as you're getting like 2-3 more rolls worth of carats at best if you win. If you're not having fun, dont burn yourself out. There's gonna be plenty more CMs.

I think some people are too fixated on borrowing MLB Kitasan if they don't have her at a good enough level. Is MLB Kitasan a lot better than LB1 or LB2? Definitely. People are able to make better umas now and Leo is coming very fast. The rise of front runners since Taurus (through Seiun Sky and now S.Maru) has also forced build standards to be higher to combat them.
In Taurus, good stats and a few good skills were all you needed.
In Leo, parent quality has risen simply due to more time allowing for strong parents to be made. Deck quality has not necessarily risen much across the board since there weren't any must pull supports in the time between Taurus and Leo, so players that are budgeting are really only improving their supports through monthly SR tickets and whatever event/story supports come out.

I've been posting several Rudolfs these past few days because I just can't cap speed, I literally tried everything, I wanted her as a hybrid dominator Ace and then a regular Evil Wonder as a second Dominator pure debuffer. Then I was excited to build a strong Pace, the obvious choice would be Oguri but I wanted to try something different in either Fuji or Creek since they aren't popular picks and they seem like they could be very strong, specially the latter with all those recovery skills. Last Gundam games I played were for the PS2 back in the 00s. Zeonic Front and Encounters in Space were pretty good, I even played "Lost War Chronicles" and "One Year War" and suffered through the moonrunes.

I'm not really a fan of any modern Gundam games or shows I've seen. Digital animation just doesn't do it, for me.

I think a lot of it comes down to when the skill activates
The obvious example is last spurt acceleration skills; depending on whether the last spurt starts on a corner or a straight, certain accel skills will be either very strong or practically useless (eg. Red Shift was great in Taurus and is great in Leo because the final corner is near the start of the spurt, but was bad in Cancer because the spurt started right as the final corner was ending so it'd proc too early)
You can look at each racetrack on gametora to check things like where the last spurt starts or where all the track's uphills and downhills are
