I've only played it solo, but slowly turning the planet from a barren wasteland into grassy fields teeming with life felt very satisfying. It's got a bit of a slow start, and towards the late game it becomes a bit tedious with having to spam certain things in order to make more progress, but I'd say I enjoyed most of the first 90% of the game.

I had one game-breaking bug in there, after the bank level when you escape, if you die in that section and reload a save at the beginning of it, it crashes the game. So you have to load an older save and beat that section without dying

I'm playing Astlibra right now. It looks like a photobash, but it does progression well. Every weapon, armor and shield collects experience. Once it's mastered, you either unlock a passive ability or extra capacity for toggling these abilities. Abilities are free if you equip related item, otherwise you use up capacity.
Then there is a separate atlas where you spend mana beaten out of enemies for small stat boosts, and sometimes new spells and and equipment.
Then there are the magic scales, where you can balance any inventory items you've got for additional boosts.

Troubleshooter has a neat progression system with masteries. Look up picrel on archive, I've detailed it before.

Both Rogue Legacy games have nice incremental progression, Dead Cells too.

You have to read a guide. A friend (who never played any Persona) bought Royale. He barely finished a maxing a third of the confidents, he didn't even understand how to get to the Royal content (which is an extra semester, though it's lite). It's like he essentially finished the base game.

If you're adverse on using a guide, I wouldn't recommend you to play any Persona game. 100h playthroughs means you know you're gonna miss most things and you're never playing the game at all since it's so long.
If you already played a Persona game, maybe using a walkthrough wouldn't be mandatory.

Well I just woke up too late to buy anything more now.
Steam sales really aren't what they used to be. It seems every sale the desirable complete games don't go under 40 CAD, the DLC pushes it way too high.

Like some games I bought ages ago still keep their DLC stupidly high, Outer Wilds DLC, Golden Idol DLC, and Overcooked DLC. I've noticed Team17 and Australian devs are always super stingy about discounts. I think I held off on buying Hand of Fate 2 and Eyes of Ara for the longest time because they kept refusing to drop the price and now I don't even want them.

Guess I'm going back to scouting Humble Bundles and Isthereanydeal now.

Not him but I picked that BB game up when it released in early access. It's a chink asset flip that has nothing to do with the franchise besides lifting the characters from the mainline games. It's relatively fun for an asset flip but it does get old fairly quickly and considering they are selling each new character as like a $5 DLC, it's also gonna end up being pretty pricey. They are also really slow at adding the rest of the roster and they still have like 30 characters to add to the game and they are wasting dev time on shitty crossovers.

Got elite dangerous deluxe that's all for when star citizen won't work.

I only ended up buying DOOM 1 + 2 to have the wads for GZ and DOOM Eternal, nothing else in my cart was really on a decent enough sale
