Firstly, what this anon said. We know the charts are manipulated to some degree. The second important part is a general mass appeal. If you look at the top gacha games, they all share the common trait of being simple and braindead to play and generic and safe enough to appeal to the masses. This is the trait that not only Uma and Genshin but all the top gacha share.

I think a x8 multiplier to chinkslop and a x0.5 nerf to JP games is more than just "to some degree".
And that's before considering chinkslop is collapsing so hard that even with that they have to cope with "combined" revenue by jumping all their servers together while most JP games are still split into individual servers.
They also refuse to add that one new Im@s game because it's printing so much money despite being japan-only that it would blow the rest of the gachaslop industry and the gaslighting to force westoid pandering out of the water.
