No. It would have some difficulty with steam since it's a several year-old frankenlaptop. The old hard drive and fan melted so now there's a fan that hasn't failed for a few years and the SSD in the hard drive's place.
It performs very well when I turn the graphics into mud and crispy pixels.
There is also the issue of usb ports because they are occupied by a wired mouse and (brace for it) a functioning keyboard. Because the keys have also been rendered dysfunctional, so I have a keyboard on top of a keyboard.
My battlestation is my bed, I am always comfy.

Six Ages 2 is a worthy successor. I absolutely recommend that one for KoDP fans.
Six Ages 1 is a bit of a miss though. It's still good, but easily the weakest in the series. You can import data from SA1 into 2 though, which makes suggesting avoiding it a bit more complicated.

My HDD is exclusively for anime, it has no purpose other than to serve as a storage space for terabytes of anime, I have RSS feeds just dumping it full of anime at all times. SSDs are NOT cheap, shit like GAMMA eats up a huge chunk of it, and I don't want to shift around 50 indie games when I have to install some awful 400gb AAA release. There is merit to keeping things clean and organizing so you don't wind up with half a terabyte of mystery bloat floating around on your ssd 5 years down the line.

Only newfags obsess over old things, there are tons of good anime released constantly. Ruri Rocks now, Cinderella Gray last season which is AOTY, there's always something good. If we're talking SHAFT only and drawing comparisons, it's Shinbo's best work, and it's interesting because the mangaka insisted it be adapted by him and no one else after their first manga was a hit. Only kizu and bake are comparable in terms of raw quality from SHAFT, but I think 3-gatsu is more skillfully directed, being both incredibly well put together while also being so close to the source material that it feels like a literal animated manga, whereas the monogatari strays from its LN a fair bit, sometimes to great success, sometimes to its detriment.
