Pink is Aptitude up if the horse's aptitude is not A yet, if it's already A, then there's a chance for it to goes to S in the inheritance event, the more sparks you have, the higher chance the aptitude can goes up. Gray sparks can be randomly obtained during inheritance event, ability gray sparks give discount for said ability, and race gray sparks give small stat boosts as well as a small ability discount, though they give so little stats they might as well not matter. Green is the horse's unique skill, but passing it down to another horse massively cut down its strength.
