Some useful stats for my fellow Kitasan rerollers:

If you're insane enough to want 3 copies of Kitasan without sparking, I hope you've got a lot of time to burn! Thankfully rerolling in this game doesn't take too long. More than anything else, sparks are entirely luck. I had the most insane, almost A+ Maruzensky a few days ago and she rolled 1* Guts.
It rolls which stat you get as a spark first, so if you only want something like Speed or Stamina you're bricked 3/5ths of the time right away. Then it rolls how many stars you get, with higher stats giving a higher chance of more stars. You can still get a shitty 1* even with good stats or a 3* with mediocre ones, it's all luck.

IIRC, all stats have an even chance of being selected for a spark. If the selected spark is 600+, there's a small chance for 3*, maybe 2% If it's 1100+, it's a higher chance, maybe 5%. IDK the exact numbers, but if you want a 3* for a stat, make sure you hit 600 minimum. 1100 is better, and I don't think you even have to clear the scenario.

The main gist I took away from it, is that career mode gives you an extra 400+ to your stats. And —that— gives you a false perception for how your horse will actually hold up in their distance bracket in pvp, if you don't know about it.

I don't always meet these stat goals. And there's other things to consider like Witmaxx memes, and power importance to late-pacers.


But since being mindful that career mode inflates your uma's stats, career mode has been easy. And my pvp teams have been much more consistent. Punching above their tier-grade, even.
